GEOFFREY R. JONES

Geoff Jones is a Senior Associate of The Padberg & Corrigan Law Firm and has extensive litigation experience in the fields of trucking and motor vehicle collisions, Motor Vehicle Accidents, medical malpractice, worker’s compensation, crane accidents, other work-zone injuries, co-employee lawsuits, boat accidents, bad faith insurance disputes and equitable garnishments.

Geoff was born and raised at The Lake of the Ozarks.  He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Missouri in 1996.  While at the University of Central Missouri he was a member of the golf team and a member of the National Championship Winning Speech Debate Team. 

Geoff received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 2001.  While in law school Geoff took numerous classes designed to understand and effectively utilize arbitrations and mediations as mechanisms for alternative dispute resolution.

Since receiving his degree, Geoff has assisted and personally handled trials and cases in the state and federal court.  The cases include multiple motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice claims, wrongful death cases and insurance disputes.  Geoff has also tried numerous worker’s compensation claims and has recently been nominated for the Lon Hocker Award for Trial Advocacy. 

He is admitted to practice in Missouri and Illinois state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.  Geoff is a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Lawyers and the Lawyers Association of St. Louis.

Geoff’s recent success includes a 1.7 million dollar judgment in St. Louis County for an individual injured after falling from a tree and a judgment in Jefferson County for a family who lost their son as the result of collision involving an ambulance.
