$200,000 Settlement for Injuries Caused by Drunk Driver - December 10, 2009

On February 8, 2007, Mary Ann and Al Morrison were rear-ended by Patrick O'Dea. At the scene, a St. Louis County Police Department officer administered a field sobriety test, which revealed that Mr. O'Dea was intoxicated at the time of the accident. Mr. O'Dea was charged with and pled guilty to driving while intoxicated.
In this accident, Al morrison sustained a fractured right hip, requiring surgery, and injuries to his knee and low back. Mary Ann Morrison hurt her head, neck, kidney and left foot.
The Padberg & Corrigan Law Firm filed a lawsuit on behalf of the Morrisons in St. Louis County. After taking the deposition of Mr. O'Dea, his insurance company offered $200,000 to resolve these claims.
