Confidential settlement in a medical malpractice claim for the wrongful death of a 60-year old man who died as a result of a failure to diagnose and treat a ruptured abdominal aneurysm.

The Padberg & Corrigan Law Firm reached a confidential settlement for the family of a 60-year old man from Belleville, St. Clair County, Illinois who died as a result of his physicians' failure to diagnose and treat a ruptured aneurysm.

The 60-year old man went to his primary care doctor with complaints of chest pain which created a stabbing pain into his upper back area. He was admitted to a hospital where the doctors failed to diagnose and treat a ruptured aortic aneurysm. He was released from the hospital and a few days later the aneurysm ruptured causing his death.
